As project manager-initiated, coordinated, negotiated and executed projects exceeding $100 million dollars nationwide.  These included projects in petrochemical refineries, office buildings, hospitals, college campuses and museums.

Purchased, directly operated and sold Service station. Redefined processes, policies and procedures. Expanded services and customer base to several Fortune 500 companies including COX Communications, Entergy and DHL.

Smithsonian American Indian Museum, Washington DC. ($2 million Controls / Building - $200 million)

Riverside Hospital, Hampton, Virginia &  Methodist Hospitals, Memphis Tennessee. ($10 million)

Jefferson Parish Central Plant ($6 million) , Dillard University, ($9 million)   (New Orleans, Louisiana), Adams County Jail and Office Buildings (Natchez, MS).

  • Coordinated scope execution with owner and subcontractors.

  • Implemented subcontract plan; established database of site-specific subcontractors.
  • Prepared, evaluated and awarded subcontracts. Initiated change orders; held pre-bid, kick-off conferences.
  • Managed Projects to $2,000,000: Enforced strict safety controls. Requisitioned materials and equipment. Insured timely labor force per schedule, walked out jobs, negotiated with client. Provided weekly schedule, safety and cost updates. 
  • Estimated site work projects involving underground piping and drainage, piling, concrete and structural steel.
  • Planned and scheduled petrochemical projects, walked out jobs and defined scope.
  • Planned for civil, mechanical, paint, electrical and scaffolding trades.
  • Created and updated resource loaded schedules.  Created reports, and S-curves.

Projects included beach and wetland restoration and maintenance dredging projects worldwide. 

Clients included Federal, State and Private Entities. 

  • Prepared cost estimates on projects exceeding $200 million.  Developed spreadsheets, graphs and databases.
  • Tracked costs, man-hours and equipment by establishing historical database.
  • Reconciled engineering and accounting information for bidding.
  • Set up budgets and allocated costs.
  • Developed proposals. Prepared presentations for Fortune 500 companies including Kiewit Construction and Chevron.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT:     Provided consulting services for construction costing, ROI and ROA forecasting. Created and sold products for construction and transportation businesses in Midwest cities including Louisville, Kentucky, Cincinnati, Ohio and Chicago, Illinois.

ACCOUNTING:          Developed cost control systems. Established criteria for profit margins, benefit/cost ratios reporting.

PROCESS DEVELOPMENT: Established numerical grading systems used to evaluate EPC processes in    commercial and industrial environments. Created document control systems for construction and other related industries.
